This is my all time favorite show of all time. The characters were amazing and the lore is absolutely perfect. It was extremely dark at times to. There was going to be 3 movies to but that obviously didnt happen. When i was younger i use to loveeeee this movie but now that i look back at it, it sucks. Its finally on Netflix now. They should"ve deleted the whole movie. Long Feng LITERALLY rules with a stone fist.

 

As a fan of the show, I watched this movie at eleven and spent the whole run time in fight or flight mode. Saw it in theaters when it came out with some buddies that also loved the show. No lie the entire theater was packed essentially with people who watched the show. Easy to tell by the line to get in No one in the theater enjoyed it. At a certain point everyone in the theater made fun of it as we all watched it. Super bonding time The biggest thing out of every mistake the movie made was the damn pronunciation of Aangs name. Like how hard was that to get so wrong? That was chief complaint amongst everyone there Edit: we were genuinely excited. What a terrible missed opportunity at recreating a great show into a fantastic movie you"d actually like to watch again and again.

Blood-bending beats it all. I love Avatar. Glad you"re covering it. This movie needs a lot more than 4 minutes of sins... I thought we all agreed to pretend this movie didnt exist. The last time I watched a M. Night Shyamalan movie I was very disappointed. I wasn"t surprised when the last air bender turned out to be awful. This movie did not do the story line justice. Where the actors should have been clearly Asian they were either white or Indian. Nickelodeon decision makers should have picked another director anyone but Shyamalan. I don"t think I will be watching the other movies if Shaymalan is the director. I agree with the critics in saying that this will be the summer"s biggest flop. This films budget should have been written off as a bad debt and re-filmed under new direction. I even asked the theater for a refund they responded with a chuckle.
